Dear Future Husband,
I have dreamt about you since I was a little girl. I have thought a lot about the fairytale that will unravel once our Author, God, allows us to connect eyes for the first time. I do not know much, but I know you are out there somewhere. I have been praying for you for years now, and I am just hoping you are living a life according to God’s purpose. I hope you feel loved, valued, and important right now.
I would never expect you to be perfect, because I am far from it. There will be times where regrets will be made, but that just ends up making us more knowledgeable and stronger. I promise to love you despite your imperfections and source of weaknesses. I promise to be there for you in times of trouble and doubt. I promise to make you smile and laugh every chance I can get. I promise to stay pure for you; I promise to stay strong for you in times of temptation. I promise to stay beautiful for you. Most important, I promise to be the Godly woman you have been searching for.
I can be hard to handle at times and have my fair share of bad days. But my love for God is immense, and I just know my love for you will have the power to turn my bad days to good and make me a better woman. You are the missing piece to the puzzle that I am striving to complete right now, and I cannot wait until you complete the picture. All I can do in the present moment is have God guide me to what His plan is for me. I hope you are doing the same and allowing God to steer you into healthy relationships that glorify Him rather than break your heart. However, I also am praying that you do not get too comfortable in any relationship now because she is not the right girl for you: I AM
There is a list of gratitude I would like you to know for treating future Sam so well. Thank you for turning her bad days to good. Thank you for using her love language of words of affirmation and making her feel beautiful every day. Thank you for pushing her closer to Jesus and challenging her in her faith. Thank you for being a great son-in-law to her mom and dad, and a great brother-in-law to her sister and brother. Thank you for being soooo HANDSOME, also thank you God for that one ;). Thank you for being my dream. And thank you for being an awesome future father to our children.
I want you to know that I love you now, in the future, and forever. You are my soulmate and I cannot wait to have you in my arms and let you know how special you are to me every day. Our journey may continue to be bumpy until we meet, so just stay strong and tackle everything with God by your side! Once I come into the picture we can go through everything together, but as of now remain grounded in your faith!
